Brighton Community Church Annual General Meeting

Time             : 8:00 p.m.

Venue          :  Videoconferencing via Zoom platform

 

In view of the current safe distancing measures imposed to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, and pursuant to the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Alternative Arrangements for Meetings for Registered Societies) Order 2020, Brighton Community Church (“the Church”) will be holding its 22nd Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) by electronic means on 14 October 2021 at 8:00 p.m. SGT.

The Notice of Meeting and relevant documents have been emailed to all Ordinary Members. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive it, or you can email agm@brighton.org.sg to request a copy.

Members will not be able to attend the AGM in person. They may instead attend the AGM by observing and listening to the proceedings of the meeting by videoconferencing.

All Associate and Ordinary Members who wish to attend the AGM electronically may register here

 

Please register by Friday, 1 October 2021, 11:59PM SGT.

 

AGM login credentials will be emailed to all eligible Associate and Ordinary Members who registered to attend the AGM on Friday, 8 October 2021, 11:59PM SGT. If you do not receive it, please notify the Church via email to agm@brighton.org.sg.

Ordinary Members may submit questions related to the Resolutions to the Church via email to agm@brighton.org.sg. All questions must reach the Church by Friday, 1 October 2021, 11:59PM SGT.

All substantial and relevant questions will be addressed by the Council prior to, or at, the AGM. Questions that concern a matter that requires voting will be included in the agenda for the AGM.

Ordinary Members who are eligible to vote may exercise their vote on each of the agenda items only by proxy, as electronic voting is not specifically provided for under the Church Constitution. The duly completed and signed proxy form must be submitted by Friday, 8 October 2021, 11:59PM SGT as an email attachment (in PDF or photograph format) sent to agm@brighton.org.sg  or by post to the Church office at 1 Ubi Crescent, Number One Building, #03-03, Singapore 408563. Forms received past this date and time will not be considered.
