Even though the song went through various adaptations over the years, the essence of its lyrics has not. Find out what the angels are singing about in this message.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

Even though Joy To The World has become one of the greatest Christmas carols of all time, interestingly it was not originally written for Christmas. The song not only speaks of Christmas, the Christ who has come, but it also points us to the King who is coming again and the joy he is bringing to this world. Let’s discover how you can receive this joy this Christmas!

1. Have you been too busy or reluctant to make room for God in your life?

2. What are some things you are doing to show adoration to your loved ones? What are some things you want to start doing to adore God?

3. What type of king does Christmas reveal Christ to be? What does it mean for you to enthrone Christ in your life?
