A Christmas Carol
About This Series

Most traditional Christmas carols are packed with spiritual content and are highly educational. Sadly, we sing them only once a year without deep reflection, and then forget about them. What a waste! That's why this Christmas season, we will be taking a deeper look at what they have to teach us about God's amazing gift of his Son to us. Let's have both a merry as well as meaningful Christmas!

The carol O Holy Night is so popular that it has been called the national anthem of Christmas, and yet, did you know that it was once banned by the church? In today’s message, Pastor Tiak will tell us more about the story behind this fascinating song, and also examine the biblical concepts that form the basis of its stirring lyrics.

Even though Joy To The World has become one of the greatest Christmas carols of all time, interestingly it was not originally written for Christmas. Let’s discover how you can receive this joy this Christmas!

1. Have you been too busy or reluctant to make room for God in your life?

2. What are some things you are doing to show adoration to your loved ones? What are some things you want to start doing to adore God?

3. What type of king does Christmas reveal Christ to be? What does it mean for you to enthrone Christ in your life?
