Each Church congregation is led by a team of local elders and staff.
The unified body of Redemption (all congregations) is overseen by a Leadership Team. You will find both below.

Pastor Wang Tiak Kweng, or Pastor Tiak as he is known to church members, founded Brighton Community Church in 1999 with around 60 brothers and sisters in Christ. He answered God’s call to full-time pastoral ministry in 2002. In doing so, he gave up a successful career as a lawyer. But that meant he could engage in two things that he loves full-time: teaching the Word of God and building a church filled with disciples of Jesus Christ. He is blissfully married to Juliana, with whom he has four children.
Pastor Sally Tan Mui Hoon is one of the pioneers of Brighton Community Church when it was founded in 1999. In 2008, she quit her job to become a Pastor in Brighton Community Church. Other than being a committed CGL, Youth Advisor, and Council member of the church in Brighton prior to being a pastor, she was also a successful sales manager in her career. She is currently a zone leader in the Working Adults ministry. She is happily married with two children to Brother Pang Yee Loy.
Hon Peng (or more widely known as “Hanbin”) is one of the pioneers of Brighton Community Church. Hanbin started serving the Lord during his school days as the lead person for the Sports Club, the outreach arm of the Young Adults before the inception of the church. His biggest step of faith to date was to pioneer the Chinese Ministry in 2004 with 40 other members. To Hanbin, the church is a place that has given him countless opportunities to serve, grow and develop in a godly environment. He is married to Sharon Ong, also a pioneer, and they are proud parents of three children.
Pastor Gracie Liu Hui-Ming was born as a Taiwanese; she has been staying in Singapore for the past 16 years and received her Singapore citizenship in 2004. She came to Singapore as a student of the TCA College and joined the pastoral team of Trinity Christian Centre upon receiving her Master in Bible and Mission degree in 1998. She has been serving the Lord in full-time ministry for more than 10 years and she joined Brighton staff team to lead the Chinese Zone since January 2009. She has obtained Master in Bible and Mission and Master in Divinity at TCA College, and started her Doctorial in Pastoral Ministry at China Evangelical Seminary, Taiwan in January 09. She has a zeal for evangelism and teaches believers in their understanding of God and equips leaders for kingdom service. She is happily married to Brother Yap Yee Peng with three kids.
Pastor Aaron Koh is one of the pioneers of Brighton Community Church and the first missionary the church sent out in 2003. He felt the call to the missions field after his first missions trip to Chiangmai in 1998. His passion and desire to reach out to the university students grew and he soon gave up his full-time career to respond to the call. He is now back in Singapore as the Deputy Family Zone Pastor.
Li Kai has been with Brighton Community Church since its infancy and has served in various capacities in every zone of the church while progressing through different phases of life. Most recently, he had answered God’s call to pastor the local church in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Li Kai is now back as the Director of Brighton Connection. Li Kai is married to a wonderful wife in Janice and is blessed with three amazing children in Sarah, Matthias and Rachel.
Wee Kiat joined the youth ministry of Brighton Community Church in 2002 when he was still in his secondary school. Since then, he has not stepped out of the youth ministry. Through every phase of his life, he continues to serve in various capacities and provide leadership in this ministry.
Graduating from National University of Singapore (NUS) as an Economic major in 2012, Wee Kiat started his career in social assistance, where he provided career advisory and administered financial support to needy residents so that they can be gainfully employed. He firmly believes that the best thing he can do in his life is to make a difference to the lives of others. Answering God’s call to pastoral ministry in 2017 enabled Wee Kiat to further live out this belief and to pursue his passion for the youth generation full-time.
Wee Kiat is happily married to Serene Zheng.
Pastor Alywin Oh joined Brighton Youth Fellowship in January 2002 when he was just a youth preparing for his O’levels. As a young man, he had always said to his peers that he felt the call of God in his life to spread the gospel to foreign lands. So when he graduated from NUS’ Political Science programme in June 2011, he accepted the church’s offer to intern as a full-time youth worker, and subsequently came onboard as a youth pastor in January 2012, spreading the gospel among Singapore’s youths as his very first step to the call he had as a youth. He is now a Missionary in Cambodia.
