- 1. Does God’s affirmation that we are His own encourage you? How do you as a believer in Christ handle crisis such as this?
- 2. Reflect on God’s exhortation to His people to be humble, to pray, to seek His face and to be holy. Share with your group one or two aspects of these exhortations with respect to your personal life and in your family life. How do you show compassion and empathy to others: the marginalised, the poor, the migrant workers?
- 3. God’s promise of divine care and providence is clear in the scriptures. If economic depression hits, your job is on the line or your salary is reduced substantially, what personal practical steps will you take for yourself and your family. Share your personal experiences in the past, if any, of how you leaned on God and HIs providential care when the situation is dire.
