- 1. The heart is often equated with feelings, but we learn from the Bible that it is much more than that – it is the control centre of our lives. Share an area of your life that you may have left unguarded and the effects of doing so. How would you now like to guard your heart better?
- 2. The devil is a formidable adversary, but in light of Christ, he absolutely cannot compare – Christ is supreme. Reflect on area of your life that you are consistently affected or frustrated by. Share how you can focus on Christ and live victoriously in Him so that your feelings are not hijacked by the devil.
- 3. The Christian journey is a fight to the finish, a lifelong race, but one that we can complete – securely in Christ. You have shared two potential blind spots in the questions above. Now, share how you would like to consciously develop Christlikeness so that you can build your life on Christ the solid rock and not sinking sand like feelings.
